In whole: Artificial intelligence has its place. It can be lovely in certain places like turning my thermostat to ECO mode when I leave the house, or answering my excessive, “Hey google, can my dog eat [enter human food my toddler just fed the dog]?” But it’s not doing a great job at replacing artists. We are here to stay. A really wonderful artist, Beth Spencer, hosted her own #dtiys (do this in your style) on instagram. Her request was this…

“Let’s make Instagram a gallery of beautiful, badges and encourage everyone to support human artists!”

Y’all, this caught on quick. A TON of artists have jumped on board, and are making their own versions of her original illustration. If you’re an IG person, search #HiBadge2024 to see countless talented people’s interpretation of this. The challenge lasts until the end of August.
